IB Geography students travelled to the Jura to conduct fieldwork along river systems, taking measurements at multiple points from the upper course down to the lake. Their study examined whether the river follows expected patterns of flow and width as it descends, and how human interventions such as water extraction and trout farming affect those patterns in practice.
