L’île de la Harpe Défi

Over 100 Roséennes and Roséens participated in this year’s île de la Harpe défi, our first in a series of sporting challenges that take place in autumn.

Continuing with the twenty-year tradition, waves of students from class 5 to class t donned their swimsuits and plunged into the chilly lac Léman water, swimming 100 metres to the île and back. A group of curious swans decided to join in on the fun and swim alongside students for a portion of the journey.

Despite the cold waters and unexpected company, the exceptionally mild weather made for a pleasant swim. All Roséens successfully completed the challenge with a smile, and we look forward to seeing how our students will fare in the upcoming défis.
