02 Jun Voyage Honneur to China
For the last ten years, Roséens have been setting off to discover Silicon Valley, its tech giants and the start-ups born in its now legendary garages. This year, for the first time, the trip took them to China, where they visited Huawei, DJI and Tencent, as well as start-ups in hangars similar to Californian garages, training robots or developing brain implants to overcome disabilities.
A Chinese proverb remains engraved in the minds of the participants: ‘Read a thousand books, but don’t forget to travel a thousand kilometres’.
It’s by reaching out to the world that we build what’s most important: respect, understanding and friendship between peoples.
