University visits to the USA and U.K.

There is nothing better than visiting a university to get to know its feel and for students to anticipate whether they will be happy there. The October university trips go some way to helping Roséens broaden their horizons and, on many occasions, offer the opportunity to meet with recent Rosey graduates who are able to share their own experience of studying there.

Dozens of university visits are scheduled every year and the first term is the most hectic of all. Heading stateside, students visited Princeton, UPenn (University of Pennsylvania), UVA (University of Virginia) and George Washington University to have a first look at these stunning campuses and meet with admissions representatives on site. Touring around each campus immerses the students for an afternoon in a unique setting, allowing them to briefly anticipate what their own experiences could be.

On the other side of the Atlantic, we travelled to a number of top U.K. universities where students also visited differing urban and suburban campuses and were able to appreciate cultural and historical activities alongside the trip’s core educational focus.

For our Class of 2018 who left us in the summer, we had successful entrants to Parsons School of Design, McGill University, University College London, Edinburgh, ESADE (Barcelona), École Hotelière de Lausanne (Switzerland) and Waseda (Tokyo) amongst many other international establishments. A full list of our university destinations from 2008 – 18 is available here.
