The expedition programme is now well and truly underway and class 4 recently enjoyed a good weekend in Leysin. For the most part, they showed a good spirit and enthusiasm for the activities in mixed weather. There were some exceptional efforts from five students who completed a very challenging Via Ferrata in cold conditions (with even a touch of snow!). Lots of the students completed a less challenging route and only a few couldn’t bring themselves to overcome their fears and opted for a hiking option.  As the pictures show, however, expeditions open students’ eyes to the beauties of nature, the challenge of activities and the importance of team work.
