Weekend in London

This past weekend brought about a peaceful and memorable experience for 15 students from Classes 1 and 2 as they explored the picturesque beauty of Greenwich. They wandered through the Maritime Museum, the Royal Observatory, and the old markets in the village. Roséens hopped aboard the Thames Clipper back to the Embankment as the evening descended to catch an evening show, the riotous old comedy “Noises Off.”

Sunday morning brought a shift from light-hearted to a more solemn note as Roséens observed the commemoration at the Cenotaph. The respectful silence of the crowds left a lasting impression on the students, reminding them of the significance of honouring those who sacrificed for their country.
