Fête de Noël streamed online

Le Rosey concluded the first term of its 141st school year with a series of online celebrations to mark the annual Fête de Noël. After a successful and busy term in the midst of the pandemic, we are proud of all that students have achieved and their quick adoption of new measures and adapted activities, always with enthusiasm and conscientiousness. Preparations for the production of an online streamed version of our Fête de Noël culminated in four fantastic performances across two evenings to showcase Roseans theatrical and musical talent. The Juniors’ teaser production of Moana Jr., ahead of its full performance in the summer, commenced Theatre Night, followed by Nell Gwynn by Jessica Swale from our English Speaking Senior Theatre Troupe. Music Night was broadcast the following evening with the Formal Concert and School of Rock taking centre stage of the Rosey Concert Hall and Black Box; both aptly presented Rosey’s sheer breadth of musical talent across various instruments and genres. This celebration was a true testament to the polyvalence of the Rosey community, with students, teachers and technical teams all assuming several roles to collaborate on our very first online streamed Fête de Noël.

On behalf of the whole Rosey community, we wish you a very happy and healthy holiday and a peaceful start to the new year. We look forward to welcoming students back in 2021 for a fruitful winter here in Switzerland.
