IB Theatre Collaborative Project

Four IB Theatre Roséens presented an original eight-minute piece to a live audience as part of the Collaborative Project. There is no script to start from, only a single starting point, which can be an image, a piece of music, an object or a social issue. From there, the group built the piece themselves, each moving between creator, designer and director as it took shape.

To prepare, the group took part in a series of workshops led by Byte Theatre. Built around the idea that acting is reacting, the sessions focused on how performers respond to one another on stage rather than on effects layered on top.
