L’Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne au Rosey Concert Hall

Thanks to the exceptional acoustics of the Rosey Concert Hall, Le Rosey had the good fortune of welcoming the Chamber Orchestra of Lausanne (OCL) to its campus recently.  They came to record a CD under the orchestra’s new conductor, Joshua Weilerstein.  What is more, students and staff were invited to a short informal concert which  exceeded expectations.  The ensemble played with its accustomed verve and precision, and Joshua Weilerstein, the orchestra’s new conductor, offered a wonderfully educational session, explaining Stravinsky’s Pulcinella and Apollo ballets, with extracts, pictures, and interaction with the audience. A return visit is planned.
