08 Jul Mini-fête de fin d’année
Le Rosey concluded its 140th School Year with a mini-fête de fin d’année, smaller than the school’s usual annual ceremony, but one which nevertheless celebrated our students’ achievements during this particularly demanding and different term. We are delighted that we were able to continue our tradition of concerts and theatre at this celebration and all students and teachers should be congratulated on the impressive performances and productions that were rehearsed and assembled in a relatively short amount of time with, of course, reduced teams. Festivities were livestreamed to our community unable to join us for the day with performances given on stage and pre-recorded by students to be able to involve as many participants as possible. Particular innovation came in the form of a radio play, Trouble is my Business, for this year’s English production. Students took great pleasure in staging and producing a piece in this style, adapting seamlessly to both a live audience and those watching from afar.
Le Rosey wishes its whole community a fruitful and restful summer with the pleasure of resuming a more “normal” school year shortly. We are proud and grateful to all students, teachers and parents who have supported new ways of learning and look forward to welcoming you back for the rentrée in September.
