AND FURTHERMORE...

Le Rosey Chapel
A religious service takes place every Sunday evening (Mass or ecumenical services), the chapel always has its doors open to anyone wishing to spend a few quiet moments there.

The library
A place for reading, research and study. The library is run by a full-time professional librarian and is open all day; it contains 17,000 literary and reference works in 16 languages; Le Rosey also subscribes to several journals and professional search engines on the Internet. Its comprehensive intranet site allows students to look up references themselves. A member of the IT staff is also stationed in the library to answer any questions students may have with regard to computers, printers, etc. Teachers are encouraged to bring their students to the library to familiarize them with how to do research and to nurture their interest in reading.

Certain classes, particularly in the Junior section have their own library selection. Magazines suitable for specific age groups can also be found in the boarding houses.

The Chateau of Le Rosey
The central reception area where academic and sports directors have an open-door policy to receive students and the staff when the need arises.

Le Rosey riding stables
Roseans who already enjoy horse-riding and those new to the sport will find all they need here. Situated in the foothills of the Jura mountains just 20 minutes away from Rolle, the stables have 26 stalls for horses and ponies, an indoor riding school, a dressage area, a large expanse of forest to discover on their doorstep and a private clubhouse with its own restaurant!

The sailing centre, “Fleur d’Eau”
The sailing centre extends along 100m of the lakeside just a few minutes from the campus. Sailing boats (Lasers, catamarans, windsurfs) are stored by the lake whilst material is kept secure in outbuildings. Le Rosey owns 6 yawls rowing boats, 3 motor-boats for water-skiing and a 38-foot yacht.

Le Rosey Wellness centre and outdoor pool
The Wellness centre, situated on the La Combe campus has a 25-metre indoor heated pool, a jacuzzi, a steam bath, a sauna and a massage room, all of which is managed by a professional.

La Caffe
La Caffe is open all day and is a place to chat and relax; several Roseans also use it as a place to work. When they have a free moment or at break time, students and teachers alike meet up over a fruit juice, sandwich, fresh panini or sushi to mention but a few of the specialities on offer. A selection of fresh fruit is also available to all free of charge both in the cafeteria and around the school. When the weather is fine, the terrace in front of La Caffe is a popular place to meet. Students on the School Committee are actively involved in the running of the cafeteria. Profits made from “La Caffe” are used to support ongoing projects led by the Solidarity Committee.

“ouR Caffe”, the cafeteria at La Combe, is open to the girls in the evening.

Common rooms
A common room in each boarding house is open to students during their free time. Whether for birthdays, debate and discussion, board games or cinema club, Roseans will always find a reason to meet up and spend time together there.

Le Rosey boutique
Situated on the ground floor of Maison Whitehead, the boutique stocks a wide variety of goods: stationery, school uniform, sports equipment, casual and sports wear, luggage, toiletries, presents, etc.
